- 요약 2000년대 이후 Sci-fi 영화에서 표현되는 지구 재난 상황은 인류의 과학문명의 발달에 기인한 결과이고 이것은 마치 물리학에서 ‘인과율 법칙’과 같다. 예를 들어 기후, 바이러스, 자원고갈, 에너지 부족 그리고 핵전쟁 등을 차치하고서라도 우주에서 발생한 위기 상황 역시 인류와 연관되어 있는 결과이다. 심지어 외계 종족과의 접촉은 인류보다 월등한 종족으로서 파괴적 목적성보다는 정보 교환적 목적성이 더 강하다. 외계 종족과 접촉을 통한 정보의 교환만이 인류 종족이 멸족하지 않고 지구에 닥친 절체절명의 위기를 극복하는 방법이란 뜻과 일맥상통한다. 인류의 발달된 과학기술문명은 결국 모든 지구상에 불어닥친 절체절명의 위기를 자초한 근본적인 원인이며 이제 그 임계점에 다다랐거나 아니면 이미 임계점을 지났을지도 모른다. 결국 인류는 이처럼 종의 멸종과 지구의 멸망을 해결할수 있는 방법으로 인간을 넘어서는 '오버맨'을 간절히 욕망해 왔고, 2000년대 이후 모든 Sci-fi 영화에서 다양한 방법으로 등장시켜 표현해 왔다. 우리는 이 '오버맨'을 '새로운 종' 또는 '신인류'라고 지칭한다. 본 논문은 이 ‘새로운 종’이 의미하는 것을 밝혔다. The disaster situations on Earth represented in sci-fi films since the 2000s are the result of the development of human scientific civilization, which is like the "law of causality" of physics. For example, putting aside climate change, viruses, resource depletion, energy shortages, and nuclear warfare, etc., the crisis situations that have occurred in space are also the result of human-related causes. Furthermore, contact with alien races is more for information exchange than for destructive purposes, as they are superior to humans. This is consistent with the idea that the exchange of information through contact with alien races is the only way to overcome the imminent and desperate crisis on Earth without the human race perishing. Humanity's advanced scientific and technological civilization is, after all, the underlying cause of the desperate crisis that has blown over all the earth, perhaps having now reached or already passed its critical point. After all, humanity has thus longed for an 'overman' beyond man as a solution to the extinction of species and the destruction of the Earth, and this has been represented in various ways in many sci-fi films since the 2000s. We call this 'overman' a 'new species' or 'new kind'. This paper attempts to clarify what is meant by this "new species".
